Job Summary

The Global Event Manager, APAC Marketing is responsible for creating, planning, and executing event experiences that engage attendees and meet marketing and business objectives. This role will focus on managing events within the Asia Pacific region, working closely with the Global Events Team and other departments to ensure successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage event experiences from concept to completion, including planning, coordination, and post-event follow-up.
  • Provide direction and coordination with various departments and external clients to establish event needs and goals.
  • Cross-functional coordination of tasks, development of materials, and management of event logistics.
  • Liaise with speakers, sponsors, vendors, and event staff to ensure successful event execution.
  • Prepare and manage event scope, timelines, actions, tasks, risk mitigation plans, dependencies, budget, and purchase requests.
  • Serve as a liaison to key stakeholders and communicate event goals and results.
  • Troubleshoot and handle issues that arise during event planning and execution.
  • Assist in enabling internal and external messengers to amplify event messaging and drive engagement.
  • Maintain event calendar and communicate event activities and results across the organization.
  • Nurture and build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and industry contacts.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Ability to think quickly under pressure and solve complex problems.
  • Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and outgoing individual with ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Great leadership qualities with ability to delegate and communicate responsibility to others.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with CRM technologies preferred.
