Tanker Fleet Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our tanker fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the operational activities of tanker vessels, including loading, discharging, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and minimize costs.
- Liaise with port authorities, clients, and contractors to facilitate smooth operations.
- Monitor vessel performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to vessel operations, performance, and incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tanker operations or a similar role within the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and tanker operations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required and work flexible hours.
