Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to fill a key role in our quality control department. As a member of the team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with internal and external standards.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Process and Engineering teams to define and meet quality control standards. This will involve conducting in-process and final QC (FQC) audits, documenting findings with clear traceability, and identifying root causes of quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identify and address quality issues through corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain quality plans and inspection criteria in line with ISO and regulatory requirements
  • Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) programs and incoming material checks
Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma in Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: At least 1 year in electronics manufacturing or a similar quality assurance environment
  • Core Knowledge:
    • Quality control principles and practices
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, 45001, and FDA regulatory standards
    • Understanding of IPC-A-610 or equivalent PCB/assembly standards
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Certifications: IPC or Six Sigma certification is an advantage
    • Tools: Proficiency in SAP QM, Minitab, or other statistical quality tools
    • Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective communication skills
