Electronics Quality Assurance Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a passion for ensuring product excellence.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality standards
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues through corrective actions
  • Developing inspection criteria and maintaining quality plans in line with industry standards
  • Supporting supplier quality assurance and incoming material inspections
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining QC documentation

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A diploma in manufacturing, quality engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control in electronics manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Knowledge of SQA and audit processes (incoming, in-process, outgoing)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, 45001, and FDA standards
  • Understanding of IPC-A-610 or equivalent PCB/assembly standards
  • Experience with QC processes for plastic molding, die casting, metal stamping, or machining parts

Preferred Skills

Applicants with the following skills are highly desirable:

  • IPC or Six Sigma certification is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP QM, Minitab, or other quality/statistical tools
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective communication skills across teams
