About the Position
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding or logistics and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and experience with DGR trained and OOG Cargo would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipping documentation formalities
- Ensure proper and timely billing / closing of all job files
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activities
- Manage data entries in-house system
- Coordinate with various suppliers
- Provide rate to interco whenever necessary
- Assist for rate sourcing with various carriers whenever necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in freight forwarding or Logistics Industry
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant personality and a good team player
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently
- DGR trained and OOG Cargo experience will be an advantage
