Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Relations Agent to join our team at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Supervisors and Managers: Collaborate with our supervisory and management team to ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Ensure that all guests have a speedy and hassle-free check-in and check-out process, in line with our hotel's operating procedures.
  • Amenity Forms and VIP Services: Raise amenity forms for VIP guests, Elite Members, repeat, and long-stay guests, and ensure that our housekeeping and room service teams are informed.
  • Room Blocking and Arrivals Report: Run the First Ten and Arrivals report to block rooms for arrival guests and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Marriott Rewards Enrollment: Enroll guests in the Marriott Rewards program and provide them with information about the program's benefits and rewards.
  • Guest Complaints and Enquiries: Handle and resolve guest complaints and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Hotel Information and Services: Provide guests with information about the hotel's facilities, services, and the surrounding community.
  • Room Status and Guest Profile: Maintain accurate room status information and update guest profiles as necessary.
  • Key Programming and Cashiering: Program keys for guests, including porters to bring out luggage, show rooms, and for guests who have lost their keys or are unable to access their rooms. Perform cashiering duties, including processing payments, handling foreign currency exchange, and selling gift vouchers.
  • Cash Handling and Bank Procedures: Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures, including counting bank at the end of the shift, completing designated cashier reports, and resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Work Experience: No prior work experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to our hotel's operations is essential.
  • Availability: Full-time position(s) available, with rotating shift work basis.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
