Automation Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Developing control software for precision, high-throughput automated equipment">
  • Designing and developing machine vision and/or deep learning software to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity for precision, high-throughput automated equipment">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architectures, and implement software solutions">
  • Implementing best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation">
  • Supporting and troubleshooting existing automation systems, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner">
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation software solutions">
  • Performing continuous improvement and enhancement to the existing equipment software toward Smart Autonomous Manufacturing">

Required skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering disciplines">
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn more">
  • Positive mindset with a can-do attitude to challenge the impossible">
  • Good organizational and time management skills">
  • Able to work remotely in an effective manner">
  • Experience in electrical design for machine automation in Class100 cleanroom environment is preferred but not compulsory">
  • Knowledge and/or experience in EtherCAT fieldbus, SolidWorks 3D, machine vision technology, AI Technology or Control Automation is an added advantage">
  • Experience in data science and AI technology through past projects is favorable">
  • Interest in transforming data science prototypes into production-ready solutions with knowledge of Python, Web design, Pytorch library, and/or other machine learning frameworks">
