Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Director to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our core leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our in-house legal capabilities, as well as representing DigiFT Holdings Co. Ltd in the market as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all legal matters relating to the exchange, including negotiation of commercial agreements, product structuring, security token issuance, and designing of exchange policies.
  • Build scalable and effective legal processes for security token listings and trading.
  • Advise on and support business-critical matters, including licensing, partnership, fundraising, and investment activities.
  • Manage external legal counsels and corporate secretariats across different jurisdictions.
  • Monitor developments and provide guidance in respect of evolving digital assets regulation in Singapore and the region.
Requirements
  • LL.B. or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • >8 years of Post-Qualification Experience in legal roles, with a preference towards experience in financial services regulatory, capital markets, corporate finance, or investment fund-related work.
  • Understanding of and experience with digital assets exchange, blockchain, and related legal issues is preferred.
  • Highly motivated self-starter and team-player, commercial thinking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, multi-lingual is a plus (English and Mandarin) as you will be working across different cultures and geographies.
