Job Title

A philanthropic engagement specialist is required to develop and refine comprehensive gift proposals and pitch materials for major gifts prospects.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and faculty/academic administrators to gather relevant program, financial, and impact data for inclusion in proposals.

The specialist will also develop presentation materials that enhance the major gifts team's effectiveness and maintain consistent messaging.

  • Develop and/or refine comprehensive gift proposals and pitch materials for major gifts prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and faculty/academic administrators to gather relevant program, financial, and impact data for inclusion in proposals.
  • Develop presentation materials that enhance the major gifts team's effectiveness and maintain consistent messaging.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-7 years' experience preferably in higher education (or a comparably complex organization), involving a range of senior stakeholders.
  • Fundraising, philanthropy, advancement, or related sectors knowledge and familiarity would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and diverse relationships and the proven ability to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, coordinate, and execute cultivation events/engagement sessions that support the solicitation process and strengthen donor relationships.
