Aerospace Technician Job Description

As an Aerospace Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of aircraft equipment and components. You will be responsible for performing various overhaul, rework, repair, and associate operations on aircraft equipment and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or mechatronics engineering, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. You should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform work at cell level to meet production schedules
  • Assemble, disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and test aircraft equipment and components
  • Promptly resolve issues and ensure accurate repair cost estimates
  • Work closely with supervisors and other support personnel to resolve problems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics)
  • Experience with Component Maintenance Manual and Quality Management System
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Computer literacy (SAP knowledge preferred)
