Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect outgoing parts and incoming subcontracted parts according to established procedure / specification of inspection and carry out Incoming Process Inspection.
  • Maintain quality record and file quality data.
  • Highlight quality problems discovered to the relevant Managers for action.
  • E nsure that all nonconforming products are not mixed with good products prior to disposition.
  • A uthorize the rejection of parts if found unsatisfactory.
  • A uthorize the release of conforming parts to be sent to the store for subsequent delivery to customers.
  • P erform factory routine test and check of switchboards completed in the workshop.
  • T esting and commissioning of switchboards on board vessels or onsite to the satisfaction of customers; and attend to warranty claims / quality complaints.
  • C onduct official tests on the switchboards which require witnessing by surveyors or consultants and also maybe with the presence of customers.
  • A ssist the Manager in quality responsibilities.

Requirements
  • A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (strictly electrical) plus Certificate of Attendance in Quality Control.
  • P refer 2 years of QA experience in the marine or industrial field.
  • E xperience in testing switchboards/panels is an advantage.
  • Willing to work onboard the vessel, and travel occasionally. Oversea travel allowance will be given.
