Job Title: Commercial Operations and Financial Management Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Operations and Financial Management Specialist to join our team. This key member will be responsible for building and developing commercial operations processes to support our Submarine Network Systems.

This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all areas of contracts are enforced and carried out. Key responsibilities include creating and owning budgets, forecasts, cashflows, and expenses to ensure the team achieves its operations and financial goals.

The successful candidate will also support the Leadership team in monthly key updates, quarterly board meetings, and drive the team/internal stakeholders in collation of data and information distribution.

Additionally, this role will involve driving contracts, commercial, and financial housekeeping and organization internally to optimize efficiency.

Key Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in digital or communications infrastructure sectors preferred
  • Strong experience in contract management, including understanding how complex agreements are structured, flow through, and executed
  • Experienced in managing budget, cashflow for operations for large complex global projects
  • Experience in business operations, setting up new processes or customer success roles
  • Effective written and communication skills required
