Group Financial Operations Specialist
\- The Group Financial Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial operations of a group of entities. This involves preparing and reviewing complete financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flows.
- Key responsibilities include developing and delivering monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to support informed decision-making.
- Another key aspect of this role is overseeing the month-end closing process for general ledger and sub-ledgers, performing necessary reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial records.
- This position requires collaboration with tax consultants to compute annual corporate taxes, address tax inquiries from authorities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Additionally, the Group Financial Operations Specialist will prepare unaudited financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
- Relationships with statutory bodies, such as ACRA and IRAS, must be maintained, and company filings and interactions overseen.
- Quarterly GST submissions for companies will also be coordinated.
- Independence, multitasking abilities, and a positive attitude are required while working under pressure.
- Assistance with payroll processing and claims administration may also be necessary.
Requirements:
\- A minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or a commercial firm is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks Desktop, and XERO accounting software is expected.
- A meticulous, independent, and driven individual who is eager to learn and passionate about accounting is ideal.
- An effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is crucial.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
