Job Responsibilities

As Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of customer experiences that align with business objectives and customer needs. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of product owners, development squads, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are delivered on time within agile sprints.

You will guide and participate in discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and breakthrough moments that define quality experiences. You will lead usability testing sessions and generate actionable design recommendations to improve the experiences we create.

You will effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually. You will direct the purpose and facilitation of stakeholder engagement sessions, ensuring quick follow-ups of workshop outcomes.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team by providing holistic views and realistic goals for the team to achieve business outcomes.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design or product design
  • Experience mentoring content designers, providing design direction, framing problems, and running a team
  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills
  • Skilled in systems thinking, with the ability to see the bigger picture and ensure the voice of the customer is present from discovery to design execution
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and run multiple discovery and delivery projects with consistency, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and deadline-driven agile environment
  • Great communicator and presenter, with the ability to translate ambiguity and present actionable steps to team and key stakeholders

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma
