Freight Forwarding Sales Director Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire field sales function across Singapore, developing and executing a cohesive sales strategy to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across all freight forwarding services.

  • Manage and mentor a team of Field Sales Managers who lead teams of executives ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market expansion goals.

This role requires exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a diverse sales force. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic presentation skills in English, with proficiency in other regional languages being an asset.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth targets for the country in alignment with regional and global objectives.
  • Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) including country field sales budget volume and GP.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in freight forwarding with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing multi-team sales functions.
  • Extensive progressive experience in freight forwarding sales with a significant portion of that time in a senior leadership or management role overseeing a multi-country or multi-team sales function.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market share.
