As a Job Coach, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Continuum of Work Experience for students with special needs. Your primary objective will be to design and develop tailored job scopes that cater to the unique requirements and learning objectives of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and maintain a continuum of Work Experience that aligns with the individual needs and aspirations of students.
  2. Source potential community and industry partners to identify relevant work-based opportunities that meet student interests and preferences.
  3. Collaborate closely with SPED teachers to co-plan and coordinate suitable work exposure activities as part of the Vocational Guidance curriculum.
  4. Develop and implement training plans for students on Work Experience, covering teaching of relevant soft and hard skills in alignment with the VE curriculum.
  5. Provide on-site training, accompany students for job interviews and orientation, and conduct regular assessment and evaluation of student progress.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Diploma/Degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in vocational training, assessment, or placement is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Good team player with negotiation and problem-solving skills.
