Welding Supervisor Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production department, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising welding activities at our site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant certification/Diploma, 3~5 years of experience in welding and fabrication, ARC/TIG/MIG welding experience, and be certified as a Welding Inspector CWI. Additionally, they will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Welding Supervisor will also be responsible for:

  • Planning daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets
  • Maintaining accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports
  • Ensuring proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications

Please note that night shifts and overtime may be required from time to time. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
