Welding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our welding processes.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts accurately and efficiently.
- Welding small and large components using various techniques, including copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
- Operating specialized machinery for industrial welding and overseeing machines that perform the same task.
- Maintaining and repairing all machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors and implement corrective actions.
- FOLLOWING AND ENFORCING STRICT SAFETY REGULATIONS TO PREVENT INJURIES AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
- Monitoring machinery for appropriate usage and temperature to prevent overheating or damage.
- Welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions to meet specific requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a welder.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
