Welding Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Welding Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the Singapore region, providing technical advice on welding materials, and conducting business trips to Malaysia for technical support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in the technical sales and marketing industry. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers of welding consumables in the Singapore region.
- Provide advice on the use of welding materials based on customer requests.
- Organize business trips to Malaysia for technical support upon customer request.
- Engage in discussions with companies involved in extracting structures used in oil and gas exploration from the seabed.
- Offer technical services related to welding materials.
- Respond to engineers' inquiries regarding specifications of welding consumables.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 Driving License to operate a company vehicle.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Technical knowledge and several years of engineering experience.
- Familiarity with welding processes and consumables.
- Experience in technical sales and marketing industry.
- Strong communication skills and high enthusiasm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
