Senior Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Event Coordinator to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of events from conceptualization to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for events, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • A Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising/Media, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent is required.
  • The successful candidate should have experience in managing physical, virtual, and hybrid events. A good appreciation and understanding of technology is also advantageous.
  • We are looking for a team player with attention to detail, who is willing to learn and adapt quickly. Experience in client servicing is preferred but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate should be honest, with good work ethics, and a positive attitude. They should be willing to work hard and put in long hours when required.
About the Role

This is a key position in our event management company, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless event delivery. The Senior Event Coordinator will work closely with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to bring events to life.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage event planning, coordination, and execution from conceptualization to completion.
  2. Develop and implement event concepts and strategies.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event success.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports of event activities and outcomes.
  5. Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising/Media, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing physical, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good appreciation and understanding of technology.
