Current Affairs Programme Producer/Senior Producer

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful producer to join our team in creating engaging content for our current affairs programme.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for writing, good storytelling ability, and an excellent command of the English language. Fluency in other languages will be an advantage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Pitching, researching, writing, and crafting stories around important issues affecting the region and the world.
  • Interviewing politicians and filming in disaster zones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • Good writing skills, strong news sense, and knowledge of local and regional issues.
  • Able to work well under pressure, exercise individual judgment, spot trends, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical skills, creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Arts & Social Science, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Economics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Production or newsgathering experience.
