Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Vessel Manager in purchasing spare parts and consumables for ships
  • Responsible for document control, including maintaining a checklist of periodic reporting due from vessels
  • Keep accurate records of technical operating costs
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all vessel manuals, drawings, and instruction books
  • Assist in arranging routine vessel repairs
  • Assist the Technical Superintendent with daily operations of the vessels

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a ship management, ship owning company, or purchase department
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of ShipNet software system is an advantage
