Job Title: Technical Installation Manager

About the Job
We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our on-site installation teams and manage relationships with vendors. As a Technical Installation Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate site installations, including site surveys, feasibility checks, and method statements.
  • Manage installation teams and vendors, scheduling and supervising their work, conducting toolbox meetings, and ensuring quality and productivity.
  • Oversee safety and compliance initiatives, preparing risk assessments, site safety plans, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret drawings, set out and level structures, verify anchoring systems, oversee electrical wiring and LED installations, and perform testing and commissioning.
  • Prioritize quality control and handover processes, including punch lists, defect rectification, as-built documentation, photo reports, and warranty registration.
  • Maintain cost and schedule control through tracking progress against programs, managing variation works, optimizing access equipment and labor costs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, main contractors, and building management, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that installation tools, consumables, and spare parts are job-ready, coordinating deliveries and site logistics.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in signage installation or closely related construction/fit-out field.
  • Strong knowledge of materials such as acrylic, aluminum, stainless steel, resin letters, neon flex, lightboxes, LEDs, power supplies (12/24V), IP ratings, and mounting methods.
  • Ability to read and translate AutoCAD/Illustrator/shop drawings into practical site steps and accurate site measurements.
  • Familiarity with Work Safety practices, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and toolbox talk leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with MEWP/boom lift/scaffold operations and traffic/pedestrian management on site.
  • Leadership and communication skills, calm under pressure, clear instructions, firm on safety and quality.
  • Class 3/3A driving license preferred.
  • Bilingual (English & Mandarin) advantageous for supplier coordination.
  • WSQ certifications and bizSAFE exposure beneficial.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with PE-endorsed details, anchor pull-tests, and façade works.
  • Familiarity with public sector/main contractor workflows (e.g., LTA/BCA/landlord approvals).
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting and multimeter usage.

Work Conditions
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm (site work may require early starts, nights, or weekends).
  • Base location: Singapore ( exact address removed ).
  • Travel required: Island-wide site attendance.
