Job Description

As a key team member in the repair and development of turbine engine components, you will be responsible for setting up and welding high-temperature alloys using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques. Your primary goal is to produce high-quality welds while adhering strictly to established repair manual requirements.

The role involves performing simple to complex welding tasks, requiring the ability to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English. You must possess strong analytical skills to consistently identify and replace worn-out fixtures or tooling as needed.

This position demands attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records of production processes and adhere to schedules.

You will also need to collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and resolve any issues that may arise during the repair process.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum GCE 'O' level qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in TIG welding
  • Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC certification in welding
  • Relevant TIG certificates or CAAS approval in TIG Welding/General Welding or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively collaborate with a team
