Job Summary

This is a challenging role for a Turbine Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the service organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues related to gas turbines and large-scale rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, understanding their technical needs and providing effective solutions.
  • Respond to customer requests for technical issue resolution, using analytical skills and sound engineering principles.
  • Prepare and present clear technical instructions, procedures, reports, and proposals.
  • Communicate with customers to enhance plant performance and identify potential failures.
  • Analyze and track RAM data, reporting on KPIs and recommending corrective actions.
  • Review and present monthly monitoring diagnostic reports to customers.
  • Support the prospecting, developing, and winning of aftermarket sales opportunities.
  • Travel to customer sites for project and technical meetings.

Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in gas turbine, steam turbine, or large-scale rotating equipment design, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance.
  • Customer service experience interacting with plant personnel.
  • Practical work experience troubleshooting rotating equipment problems on site.
  • Liaising with Field Service and Engineering teams.
  • Technical knowledge in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Turbine Generators, and Control systems.
