Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a seasoned culinary expert to lead our kitchen operations, specializing in Coastal Andhra, South Indian, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese cuisine. This role will oversee the Tandoori section and Ala carte section of North Indian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of ingredients, marinades, gravies, soups, rice dishes, mise-en-place, and stock stations.
  • Cooking gravies, north Indian curries, soups, snacks & starters, biryanis, and rice dishes.
  • Assisting chefs and cooks in other kitchen sections as needed.
  • Maintaining food quality, taste, and presentation before serving.
  • Ensuring prompt and speedy delivery of orders.
  • Maintaining stocks of raw ingredients and storing them properly.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, cookware, and cooking equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: 10+2 JC levels or ITE Poly (Culinary skills) preferred.
  • Minimum O'Level 10th Standard, Sec 4.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years work in a reputable North Indian kitchen.
  • Physical Fitness.
  • Able to read, write, and understand simple English.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to work overtime during weekends and festive seasons.
