Job Description

As a Director of Communications, you will play a key role in advocating for Google's interests in the Asia Pacific region.

The APAC region is characterized by fast-paced and ever-evolving businesses and products that present significant global regulatory and competitive challenges and opportunities.

You will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of an external and internal communications strategy for the APAC region, including campaigns to raise awareness and advance strategic priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 20 years of experience creating and managing internal and external communications
  • Experience working directly with regional and global leaders as an advisor and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience advocating for the region, building internal relationships across the organization
  • Experience leading a team through change
  • Experience planning and executing on multiple initiatives and crises simultaneously and independently
  • Experience leading a team in the APAC region
