About the Role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead our team as a key advisor. This role is ideal for a seasoned lawyer with a strong background in corporate transactions, governance, and regulatory affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on all aspects of business operations and applicable regulations.
  • Lead the legal assistance on business development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and partnerships.
  • Draft and review commercial contracts, develop templates, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage corporate secretarial functions, including incorporation, board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and formalities.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a recognized university and admission to the bar.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in a law firm or as a legal counsel, preferably in trading, distribution, property development, and construction.
  • Expertise in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and travel internationally.
