APAC Financial Operations Manager

Job Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance across the APAC region. The role includes managing regional accounting activities, overseeing outsourced partners, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee controllership functions within the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting in adherence to US GAAP and local/international standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights, financial guidance, and strategic support for decision-making.
  • Enhance internal controls, ensuring operational efficiency and risk management.
  • Streamline processes and systems to optimize regional financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in MNCs. Strong understanding of US GAAP and regional accounting standards, regulations, and tax frameworks.

Demonstrated expertise in logistics, supply chain, or related industries. Exceptional ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with a knack for building trust and collaboration.
