About the Role:
NIPPON EXPRESS (SOUTH ASIA & OCEANIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Marketing & Sales Manager, Air Cargo to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to promote planning and achieve business goals.
- Design and implement a logistics and revenue growth strategy to drive business expansion.
- Manage air forwarding, international multimodal transport, express services, and other accompanied services.
- Procure services from airline companies and negotiate with associated companies.
- Liaise with Japan HQ, air cargo branches, ocean cargo branches, and international removal branches for services and operations.
- Make decisions related to services and policies for agencies related to above services.
- Proceed with services and operations in South Asia and Oceania bloc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years of supervisory experience in marketing and sales.
- Experience working in Logistics company (Air Cargo division) is preferred.
- Experience coordinating and negotiating with global airlines is preferred.
- Must be IT proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, team player, and customer service skills required.
- Possess attributes of respectfulness, honesty, integrity, and flexibility.
- Have the ability to cope with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required.
- Proficiency in Japanese language, both spoken and written, is preferred.
