Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical professional to join our team as a Defect Analysis Specialist. This role involves analyzing experimental process flows to identify defect anomalies and implementing corrective actions to improve process functionality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing process data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, developing and implementing strategies to reduce defects and improve process yields, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation.

  • Analyze process data: Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in process data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies: Design and implement strategies to reduce defects and improve process yields, leveraging analytical skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Master's Degree or Experience: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field, or 2-5 years of semiconductor experience is preferred.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Power BI, and Klarity is required.

In addition to the above requirements, we are looking for candidates with:

  • RDA Process Development Experience: 3+ years' experience in RDA Process Development for identifying and resolving defect integration issues.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Familiarity with data analysis using eBeam Inspection methods, defect reduction analysis, and ADC Modeling techniques.

Preferred Skills:

While not required, candidates with the following skills are highly desirable:

  • Metrology or Inspection Experience: Experience with metrology or inspection (SEM, X-ray, Laser or Optical Systems).
  • Semiconductor Fabrication Techniques: Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication techniques.
  • Statistical Process Control and DOE: Statistical process control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) skills.
