Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

This role is for an experienced Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to join our team and drive process improvements in assembly operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Optimize existing processes through analysis and implementation of process changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
  • Lead projects to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process controls.
  • Analyze and resolve manufacturing-related problems, including defect correlation and validation.
  • Conduct statistical studies to validate process capability and scalability.
  • Develop process and material specifications, including reject and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish optimal processes and provide training for operations/technicians.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end assembly operations, preferably with VI process knowledge.
  • Experience with VI (TnR) machines like Uenoseiki, ASM, MiE is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge of DOE, SPC, and other quality tools.
  • Self-starter and team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
