Job Title: Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control within the robotics industry, with a focus on assembly processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout all products' lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Implement, and Maintain Quality Protocols: The quality engineer will develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for robot assembly.
  • Establish Quality Management System: Establish a quality management system and programs, conduct regular inspections and audits of assembly processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, production, and supply chain, to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address defects and non-conformities.
  • Monitor Quality Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and report findings to senior management.
  • Ensure Compliance with ISO 9001 Standards: Ensure all quality assurance activities are in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to junior quality engineers and other team members on quality best practices, quality programs, and quality standards.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies.
  • Respond to Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints regarding product performance and quality, ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues, improve customer satisfaction through quality improvements.
  • Oversee Quality-Related Audits: Oversee all quality-related audits, both internal and external.
  • Lead Quality Improvement Projects: Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Quality Assurance Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the robotics or manufacturing industry.
  • Certification in Quality Engineering: Certification in quality engineering (CQE) or a related certification is a plus.
