Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing funds allocated to a training institute
- Oversee contracts and their appointment holders
- Provide advice on finance processes and guidelines to units
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Manage operational budget
- Ensure accurate financial records and proper closure of accounts at the end of each financial year
- Take charge of the financial management system (NGPS)
- Coordinate appointment of financial officers in relevant systems
- Provide guidance and support to financial officers on purchasing and payment processes
- Act as secretariat and organize and manage meetings, prepare necessary documents and record minutes
- Assist in various contract-related tasks
- Serve as Point Of Contact (POC) for audit projects
- Manage a finance executive and assist in managing Full-Time National Servicemen (NSFs) assigned to the branch
Requirements:
- Education in Finance, Economics or Accounting is preferred
- Experience in procurement or contract management is advantageous
- Thorough understanding of finance, contract, and procurement guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
