Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will play a pivotal role in building a diverse and high-performing talent pipeline for our Singapore Innovation Center and Greater Asia region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Regional Talent Acquisition to deliver hiring needs for all functions across Asia.
  • Accelerate sourcing and hiring, delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions to support business needs.
  • Manage the full recruiting cycle, from first engagement to job postings, pre-screening and reviewing resumes, assessing applications, and initiating and managing interview processes.
  • Niche skills sourcing, identifying and recruiting active or passive talents for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Support hiring initiatives, driving a customer-centric and candidate-care experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Network and find new approaches to promote IFF's Employer Brand, attracting top talent.
  • Connect with key industry affiliations and universities to source pipeline talent and elevate IFF's Employer Brand.
  • Support continuous improvement and collaborate with global or regional peers to identify new innovative ways to leverage branding, best practices, talent trends, and technology.
  • Manage global applicant tracking systems, Singapore government job portals, and other local job board administration, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Become a super user and in-house expert on training facilitation for Talent Acquisition policy, process, and global applicant tracking systems.
  • Maximize LinkedIn Recruiter programs or local job boards to accelerate talent sourcing, mapping, and pipelining, ensuring talent databases are up-to-date.
  • Leverage and engage with business leaders to identify industry top talent, collaborating with businesses to build active and passive talent engagement processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven track record in Talent Acquisition or full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with strong familiarity and expertise in hiring for the Asia region.
  • In-house experience from multinational, manufacturing, or Chemical industry with a successful background in delivering challenging and complex hiring.
  • Good relationship management skills and capability in engaging stakeholders and various levels, either on-site or remote.
  • Strong familiarity with Global Applicant Tracking Systems, database management, direct sourcing, and social media hiring or branding tools.
  • Experience with Singapore government job portals and ability to ensure position management due diligence on MyCareersFuture portals.
  • Solid experience in managing the full cycle or end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within a changing, fast-moving environment.
  • Capable of handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work and complete projects independently as well as within a matrix team environment.

  • Expertise in niche skills sourcing, passive to active conversion, engagement.
  • Multi-tasker, high sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, and resourcing capability.
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Meticulous, accurate, detail-oriented, good analytical reporting skills.
  • Strong organizing and workflow management skills, including establishing priorities and following up on unresolved matters.
  • High agility, open to work beyond regular business hours, whenever necessary.
