About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to fill the position of Electromagnetic Engineer. This role involves conducting research and development in high power electromagnetic area such as circuitries or devices that generate high power electromagnetic fields.

  • Analyse specifications/requirements from users
  • Use analytical techniques or computational modelling to validate the design of the circuitries or devices as well as to understand the effect of high-power electromagnetics on electronics
  • Design, develop test plan, conduct experiment and analyse results on high power electromagnetic experiments and identify any gaps

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in software simulation tools such as CST, Solidworks etc., operating measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer etc., and familiar with operating high voltage equipment/component such as power supply, spark gap switches, semiconductor switches and diodes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD / Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering or any related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in software simulation tools and operating measurement equipment, and familiarity with operating high voltage equipment/components.
