Senior System Support Specialist and Java Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior System Support Specialist and Java Developer to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical skills and communication abilities to manage systems efficiently and interact with stakeholders effectively.

  • Perform system support and maintenance for Java/JSP/MS SQL/Oracle-based applications.
  • Deploy applications and patches on IBM WebSphere Application Server and manage application lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Utilize Windows and AIX server commands to manage backend operations.
  • Maintain expertise in Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases, optimizing performance and security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance system functionality and address technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in system support and Java programming using Java/JSP/MS SQL/Oracle.

Experience with IBM FileNet, Content Navigator, Case Manager, Suntec Pricing, and Product Bundling is advantageous.

Proven ability to deploy applications or patches in an IBM WebSphere Application Server environment.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record in resolving production issues.

Familiarity with Windows and AIX server commands.
