Job Title: Career Advancement Facilitator

This role involves working closely with clients to secure job and internship opportunities, leveraging strong relationship management and customer service skills.

  • Pursue and engage employers to offer employment and internship opportunities for clients in various settings.
  • Conduct assessments, job searches, and communicate with employers on employment-related matters for clients.
  • Suggest training for clients to enhance their employability.
  • Coordinate the job placement process, including workplace evaluations, employment negotiations, and job task analyses.
  • Provide job coaching, encompassing pre-employment preparation and on-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients and employers, including assessment, pre-placement engagement, job placement, and job support information.
  • Foster relationships and update stakeholders to promote inclusive hiring practices.
Programme Management and Reporting:
  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows within the programme and with other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analyze data to measure team performance based on programme milestones and outcome indicators.
  • Manage employer databases and facilitate annual programme audits.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Programme Head as required.
Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years' experience in relationship management, customer service, career coaching, or vocational counselling is an advantage.
  • A strong team player with initiative, adaptability, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to provide viable solutions.
  • Good analytical and computer skills.
