We are seeking an exceptional Job Coach to join our team. As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for working closely with students and employers to facilitate the development of skills and employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' readiness for internship and open employment, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.">
  • Communicate with students to understand their goals and ambitions, providing personalized support and guidance throughout the process.">
  • Source and arrange job training and internship opportunities that cater to the needs of individual students.">
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability of job sites, ensuring a seamless transition for students into the workforce.">
  • Prepare students for the internship by providing one-on-one training tailored to their needs, helping them develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed.">
  • Devise and implement job coaching strategies that address the unique barriers and challenges faced by each student, fostering independence and self-advocacy.">
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services, including career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.">
  • Advocate for inclusive work environments and negotiate workplace accommodations as needed, promoting equal access and opportunities for all.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of experience in education, social work, or a related field.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.">
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.">
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging resilience in the face of challenges.">
