Job Opportunity:

The position of Nautical Design Specialist is available for a professional who can create precise 2D drawings of ship hulls, piping systems, structural elements, electrical layouts, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce technical drawings from engineering specifications and maintain organized drawing records
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve design and documentation issues
  • Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes or client feedback
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in drafting, marine technology, naval architecture, or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms
  • Experience with marine systems and technical drawing standards
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in shipyards or offshore/marine construction environments
  • Knowledge of Revit, Asbuilt Drawings, and BIM

This role involves working in an office environment with possible visits to shipyards or fabrication sites. Occasional travel may be required depending on project location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine systems, excellent technical drawing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
