We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse with a passion for wound management and patient education.
The Wound Care Specialist will be responsible for delivering high standards of clinical practice, patient education, and staff training in wound care management. This role involves leading, coordinating, and implementing wound care management plans, education, and counseling to support patients with acute and chronic wound care needs and their families.
You will also contribute to the organization's chronic wound care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive wound care management plans.
- Conduct regular wound assessments and provide individualized education and training to patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance wound care services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Nursing qualification with current registration.
- Post-Graduate Diploma in Wound Management or equivalent nursing specialty.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a wound care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
