About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a KYC Compliance Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for analyzing client profiles, identifying required information, and ensuring adherence to KYC procedures.

  • Analyze client profiles to determine necessary information.
  • Evaluate existing documents and obtain new ones as needed.
  • Collect and source client data from public sources.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of collected data and liaise with relationship managers for additional information.
  • Perform name screening and background checks.
  • Input client data into KYC systems.
  • Liaise with quality controllers and compliance teams to address any issues.
  • Maintain global quality standards in KYC files according to compliance rules.
  • Collaborate on departmental methods and process improvements.
  • Ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence comply with local regulations and bank procedures.
  • Complete KYC Due Diligence packages accurately and on time.
  • Manage proper procurement, maintenance, and updates of KYC documentation in bank systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance & Banking or equivalent fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in KYC/AML/due diligence in corporate or investment banking, preferably in a client-facing environment.
  • Highly analytical with problem-solving skills, ability to identify risks, and recognize important information.
  • Able to work independently, learn quickly, and have attention to detail.
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills with self-motivation and teamwork capabilities.
  • Research and analysis experience with data and documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
