We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Professional to join our team.
Job DescriptionAs a Motor Claims Professional, you will play a vital role in the processing and monitoring of warranty and insurance claim submissions. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in guiding customers through filing windscreen and accident reports, assessing liability, and advising on the best claims approach.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing and monitoring warranty and insurance claim submissions.
- Guiding customers in filing windscreen and accident reports.
- Assessing liability and advising on the best claims approach.
- Coordinating with surveyors for vehicle inspections.
- Preparing repair cost estimates and parts quotations.
- Arranging courtesy or rental vehicles where applicable.
- Monitoring repair progress with workshops.
- Liaising with insurance companies to follow up on claim approvals and payments.
- Maintaining accurate monthly claims reports.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. You should also be able to work independently and make sound decisions. Experience in reinsurance, property, investigation, estimates, vehicles, general insurance, subrogation, warranty, statistics, decision making, and fraud risk management would be beneficial.
