Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Motor Claims Estimator Officer to join our dynamic team at Pan Pacific Van & Truck Leasing Pte Ltd, located in Pasir Ris, East Region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the claims process, working with insurance companies, and ensuring the proper management of motor claims. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in claims administration, insurance, or vehicle repair coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Liaison: Coordinate with insurance companies on claims and check liability.
- Claims Administration: Assist in all aspects of claims processing, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Proactive Claims Management: Take a hands-on approach to managing claims, ensuring timely processing.
- Customer Communication: Work closely with both internal and external customers to resolve insurance claim issues and ensure they understand the claims process.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate records, reports, and files related to insurance claims.
- Estimate Preparation: Represent customers in preparing and submitting repair cost estimates for insurance claims.
- Negotiation: Act as a liaison between customers and insurers to negotiate insurance coverage and repair costs.
- Repair Coordination: Coordinate with customers and insurers regarding repair invoicing, paperwork, and vehicle repairs.
- Vehicle Inspection & Replacement: Arrange for surveyor inspections of damaged vehicles, and if necessary, release replacement vehicles.
- Workshop Coordination: Work closely with workshop colleagues to manage repair processes and quality control.
- Finalization of Repair Costs: Finalize repair costs in collaboration with surveyors.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in claims administration or a similar administrative role in the insurance or automotive industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of the insurance claim process, attention to detail, and excellent negotiation skills.
- Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Problem-Solving: Able to handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Education: A diploma in business administration, insurance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Language: Proficiency in English is a must.
