Senior Consultant Job Description

This role is part of the Advisory team working with clients worldwide to evaluate hotel and leisure development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and comfortable with data analysis, with a broad understanding of geography, economics, and global affairs. They will work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to plan and perform research and data collection activities, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and apply interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration to ground ideas in research insights and constraints.

The Senior Consultant will also manage day-to-day project operations, including staffing, fee tracking, and client meetings, guide Analysts and team members on projects, and coordinate project administration and internal corporate support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborative planning and execution of research and data collection activities.
  • Designing engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to determine impact on client projects.
  • Applying interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration to ground ideas in research insights and constraints.
  • Managing day-to-day project operations, including staffing, fee tracking, and client meetings.
  • Guiding Analysts and team members on projects, sharing experience, encouraging original thinking, and ensuring alignment throughout the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, tourism, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Background in real estate/hotel development and/or consulting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment under pressure.
  • Critical and creative thinker.
  • Clear communicator and presenter of ideas, findings, and point of view.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly numerate and competent with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modelling.
