We are seeking an experienced Data Governance and Management professional to join our team.

This role will be responsible for implementing data governance policies, standards, and processes across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management concepts, including data quality monitoring, issue management, metadata management, and data access controls.

Additionally, they should have experience with project support and execution, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

They will also have knowledge of data engineering processes and solutions, as well as experience with data tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Superset, Spark, SQL, and Python.

Responsibilities include supporting data stewardship, coordinating with data stewards to monitor key data quality metrics, investigating issues, and driving resolution plans with relevant stakeholders.

They will also collaborate with line operations to maintain accurate business metadata, support data lineage documentation efforts, and ensure alignment with enterprise metadata strategy.

Furthermore, they will work closely with technology teams to drive consistent and effective data practices.

Key qualifications for this position include proficiency in understanding and handling data on sophisticated frameworks, detailed knowledge of functional operations in consumer banking, institutional banking, and financial market operations, and experience in developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures for data governance and stewardship.
