Job Brief

The Senior QA Commissioning Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire commissioning process, from planning to execution. As a key member of the commissioning team, this individual will lead a group of engineers in ensuring the quality and integrity of shipboard systems.


Main Accountabilities

  • Establish and implement robust quality control measures to guarantee compliance with Class and CTS standards.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers and OEMs to address technical issues and optimize commissioning processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior staff members in best practices and professional development.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the marine industry, preferably in a management role.
  • Familiarity with Class requirements and Quality Standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
