Innovative Autonomous Systems Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to the development of innovative autonomous systems. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and modifying guidance, navigation, and flight control systems and algorithms for unmanned aircraft systems.
- Create simulation environments using 6-DOF models and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
- Evaluate and integrate new sensors or navigation systems onto drone systems.
- Write, modify, and test firmware and flight code in C or C++.
- Analyze flight data to verify performance and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and refine autonomous systems for various applications.
- Collaborate with staff in other engineering and business groups to achieve project goals.
- Document developed systems and algorithms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industry experience in GNC and autonomous systems.
- Strong background in system modeling, system identification, parameter estimation, and frequency response analysis.
- Expertise in model-based design and analyses using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Knowledge in inertial and other types of sensors for navigation.
- Understanding of Kalman filtering, digital signal processing, and sensor data fusion.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
- Proficiency in software and development tools such as Linux, ROS, and Git.
