Academic Support Role

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill an Academic Support position in our Data Science Course.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will assist instructors during live classes, guiding learners through hands-on labs and exercises. They will also provide support through our online community and e-learning platform, answering questions and resolving technical issues. Additionally, they will track and mark attendance accurately and share learner insights with the academic team to enhance the course experience and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support instructors during live classes and facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
  • Provide timely assistance to learners via our online community and e-learning platform.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and marking of attendance, as well as sharing valuable learner insights with the academic team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python and key data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn).
  • A solid understanding of data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, and basic machine learning algorithms.
  • The ability to clearly explain technical concepts to beginners.
  • Comfortable facilitating virtual sessions using Zoom, with a reliable remote setup.
  • Must have ACTA/ACLP Certificate.
  • Prior experience as a teaching assistant, mentor, or trainer is highly valued.
