Job Title

Legal Leader for Digital Assets

This is a highly skilled and professional position that involves leading and developing in-house legal capabilities as well as representing the company in the market as a subject matter expert.

The role will be part of the core leadership team and is responsible for leading and developing our legal strategy and governance across the organization, with a specialized focus on digital assets such as stablecoins, capital market services covering securities, CIS, derivatives and custodial services, and regulatory compliance under Recognized Market Operator (RMO) licenses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute and lead the legal strategy and governance across the organization, with a specialized focus on digital assets.
  • Draft and review policies, disclosures, and agreements to ensure regulatory compliance and establish internal governance policies and legal programs.
  • Lead all legal matters relating to the exchange, including negotiation of commercial agreements, product structuring, security token issuance and designing of exchange policies.
  • Build scalable and effective legal processes for digital asset offerings, tokenization, custody, and trading platforms in alignment with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advise on and support business-critical matters including licensing, partnership, fundraising and investment activities.
  • Manage external legal counsels and corporate secretariats across different jurisdictions.
  • Monitor developments and provide guidance in respect of evolving digital assets regulation in Singapore and the region while aligning with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead internal investigations, audits, and risk assessments, including mitigating legal risks through proactive counsel and robust documentation.
  • Build and manage a high-performing legal team across jurisdictions while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and legal excellence.
